MAINTENANCE & WORKSPACE DESIGN FOR CEVA
Onyx Solutions were asked to attend the 45 acre industrial estate in Mendlesham, Stowmarket, Suffolk with a view to updating their office workspace and canteen.

The impressive site at Mendlesham comprises 749,000 sq ft of warehousing for clients including UKPN, Lotus and John West Tuna.
WHAT WE DID
We were tasked with updating the office workspace for the office staff at CEVA. We also put in extensive upgrades to their canteen, creating a working environment that promote productivity and supports staff throughout the day.
We were tasked with servicing the heating systems, including PPM checks and heating repairs. Our survey indicated that the plumbing and drainage required some work, so we repaired those too.
Our cleaning team were out in force with their high pressure jet washing and steam cleaning equipment to bring the site back to its former glory, removing years of built up dirt. We also cleaned the guttering, repaired gutters that required it and updated gutter lining where necessary. We cleaned the roof, made necessary repairs and updating the roof coatings to keep the weather outside, where it belongs.
To keep the site in tip-top condition we applied coatings such as corrosion protection, industrial hatching, installed anti-slip walkways and applied intumescent coatings for fire safety.
We repaired and cleaned all the floors, and applied protective coatings where necessary to reduce ongoing maintenance costs for CEVA.
We made repairs to the internal and external concrete. We carried out numerous general maintenance and ground maintenance tasks for the client.
To finish up, we carried out extensive internal and external decoration.
